Privacy Policy
What do we collect?
We do not collect your personal data ourselves. Monster Workshop works offline, needs no account, and does not ask for access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone or any other sensitive permission. The only exception is the advertising provided by Google AdMob (see "Ads" below), through which Google may collect some data under Google's own policies.
Ads (Android app only)
The Android version shows ads from Google AdMob. An ad may appear occasionally when you level up your shop (never in the middle of a day of selling, and spaced several minutes apart). There is also an optional rewarded ad that appears only when you tap a button on the Supplies screen to earn in-game coins. This website shows no ads.
To show ads, the app asks for the Internet permission, network state and the advertising ID. Google AdMob may collect and process the advertising ID, IP address, device information and your interaction with ads to serve ads, measure them and prevent fraud. See how Google uses data and Google's Privacy Policy. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the app asks for your consent before showing ads. You can turn off personalized ads or reset your advertising ID in Android Settings (Google → Ads). With no network connection, the game still works and shows no ads.
Reminder notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules a daily reminder on your device. These reminders are created and shown locally. No information about you is sent anywhere, and you can switch them off in Android Settings at any time.
Game progress
Your progress (coins, shop level, unlocked recipes and so on) is stored only on your device. We do not send it anywhere and cannot see it. If you use Android's backup feature, the operating system may back up app data to your Google account under Google's settings; we have no access to that backup.
Deleting your data
You can erase all progress inside the game (the Info screen → Reset) or uninstall the app. Because there are no accounts, we hold no personal data on any server.
Children
Monster Workshop is a gentle game with no violence, scary jump scenes or mature themes. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Fiction and disclaimer
All characters, places, events and dialogue in the game are fictional. Any resemblance to real people, companies or events is a coincidence, and the game does not aim to insult or mock any person, group or organization. Money in the game has no real value, and nothing in the game is business or financial advice. On first launch you are asked to read and accept these terms; your acceptance is stored only on your device.
Changes
If the app later gains features that need data (for example, downloading new content), this policy will be updated before those features are released.

The app uses the following open source libraries under their own licenses:
